The next meeting of the Greater Cincinnati Orchid Society will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2004.  Note that this is the first Tuesday of the month.  The meeting will be held at the Civic Garden Center on Reading Road across from Bethesda Hospital. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.  There will be time to socialize from 7:00 to 7:30.

Bring in plants.  If you are bringing food bring it by 11:30 Friday October 22. 

People bringing plants need to drop off plants at Larry's or Steve's BEFORE Thursday so they can bring them to Krohn for set up. Or drop them off at Krohn  between 1 and 3 on Thursday Oct 21.  Krohn has asked that we leave local displays up for the following week. Please let us know if you need your plants back before then or if you have questions.  They will be watered.

Plant Judging

AOS Judging of plants is done at the shows listed below under Nearby Shows as well as at the regularly scheduled judging sessions listed immediately below.  These sessions begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Civic Garden Center.  You are welcome to bring a plant to be judged or just to observe the judging.  Be a little early; plant registration is from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

The next Steering Committee meeting will be held the home of Steve Helbling  at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2004.  Officers 2004 should attend: Roni Adkins, Jim France, Steve Helbling, Pat June, Jeanne Sanders, Larry Sanford, Toni Doty and Dana White.
